Service Provider Perspective
If you’re looking to process credit card transactions direct to your bank account, you need a merchant account with the iEpayments. This is how the payment gateway works.
When the buyer enters their card details into your check out page, the payment gateway sends a message to the issuing card holder’s account verifying the accuracy of the card data and availability of the required funds.
Once this information is validated and the funds are confirmed to be available, the payment gateway sends the transaction information to your merchant account. In turn, it requests the funds transfer and deposits the money into your account.
The buyer then receives a message confirming the transaction. A copy is sent to you along with the details of the purchase and delivery address.
All this takes place in milliseconds and the easiest payment gateway software iEPayments
